Ascend Softball Team Wins the NGSA World Series

The Ascend Accounting Group Northbrook Girls Softball Association (NGSA) team has triumphed once again, securing the World Series title in the Minors Division with a hard fought 7-5 victory.

A huge congratulations to Coach James and all the players for their dedication and perseverance in achieving this well-deserved win!

Holiday Party 2024

The Ascend Accounting Group got together for some holiday spirit with fun and laughter at our annual party.

Pickleball 2024

The Ascend pickleball outing offered a perfect blend of friendly competition and camaraderie and made for a memorable day on the court. Everyone had a blast while fostering stronger workplace relationships.

given to a Senior at Glenbrook North High School

Each year we recognize a student who has overcome academic adversity and has demonstrated an ability and commitment to their own success. This award is given to a student who might not qualify for other scholarships.

Jackson Birt earned the PwC Senior Award

John Carroll University honors selected accounting students for achievements, excellence in accountancy, and other demonstrated qualities.

This honor was awarded to Jackson on April 26, 2024 due to his outstanding accounting collegiate career and given a cash award generously provided by PwC.

The Kramer School of Accountancy faculty choose the students based on academic performance.

Grandpa!

Sam Khalifeh is now a Grandpa. (‘Jiddo’ to his grandson).

Beckham was born in November 30 and enjoys visiting the staff at Ascend.

B Got Married!

The Ascend office was excited to send Behid off with a congratulatory lunch in honor of his wedding. Next time you talk to Behid wish him well on his new journey in marital bliss.

Captain Scott Friedland was honored at the Cubs game.

Captain Scott Friedland (Michael Friedland’s son) has been in the Indiana Army National Guard for 13 years and was deployed for a year in Iraq. He was honored for his service at the August 19th Cubs game.
